Christian Behavioral Health Therapist

We are a group practice established in 1983 as a non-profit 501c3 called Southern Connecticut Christian Counseling under the mission to serve people by offering counseling for marriage and family conflict, individual issues, crisis intervention and grief resolution. We seek to serve area churches by being a referral point for pastors and a training ground for other young professionals feeling called to help others. We intend to serve the communities that we are in by providing treatment, referrals, training programs and community-minded seminars. We are currently seeking newly licensed (LMSW, LPCA, LMFTA) and experienced clinicians (fully licensed) to join our multi-disciplinary team of outpatient psychotherapists.

What We Need:

  • Experienced couples counselors, eager to work with couples and families in an outpatient setting

Clinical Office Assisant

Compensation: $16 - $20 hourly (Part Time)

Responsibilities:
  • Be the caring and professional point of contact for potential new patients as well existing patients.
  • Assist the Office Manager with day-to-day operations, including answering phones, responding to emails, scheduling patients, collecting payments, verifying insurance, and basic insurance submission. Ensure office systems are efficient and effective including schedules, filing systems, and ordering of supplies.
  • Optimize office policies and procedures to meet internal needs while upholding our commitment to creating a caring, professional environment for employees and patients.
  • Carry out other human resources tasks and office administration duties when necessary.
  • Communicate and coordinate with third-party vendors, contractors, and service providers as a representative of our organization.

Qualifications:
  • Displays effective communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Caring and professional demeanor
  • Administrative experience or similar work experience required
  • College students, Associates degree or higher preferred
  • Basic computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office
  • Experience using AdvancedMD and Google is a plus
