Elizabeth Batista
Professional Counselor Intern

I am currently completing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Fairfield University and am excited to be part of the Renew Counseling team as I work toward becoming an LPC. The CMHC program has given me foundational knowledge in counseling theories and treatment techniques as well as learning from counseling faculty with expertise and experience in different counseling modalities.

I completed a bachelor’s in psychology from Marist University but found a 20 plus year career in business management and training and development but always felt a deep calling to become a counselor and feel fortunate to come full circle now.

I hope to connect with my clients at whatever step of their journey towards self-discovery, healing, change, or just to hear the story of their life. As a first-generation child of immigrant parents, I enjoy working with others who have had experience across cultures.
