I have worked in recovery in a variety of capacities for over twenty years and have witnessed the
negative effect that substance abuse has on family, marriage, career, physical and emotional health,
and interpersonal relationships. Allow me to collaborate with you to identify forgotten experiences that
influenced our subconscious; psychodynamic therapy can facilitate choosing new positive behaviors, along
with a strength and solution focused approach to a successful road to recovery. Establishing a relationship
of transparency and trust is paramount to work together developing a plan to complete the path to a healthy
and fulfilled life.
I received a BA from Villanova University and my LMSW at Southern CT State University,
worked on Wall Street (Goldman Sachs, Credit Swisse) for over twenty years. My wife and I have six children
in a blended family and we are foster parents, always looking forward to caring for little visitors in our home!
This has afforded us tremendous experience working with a diverse population of children and families,
both foster and biological.
I have a strong belief in integrating physical health and proper diet with emotional wellness and recovery.
I enjoy educating clients with this concept because the results are almost immediate and facilitate
transition to a new life much smoother. I am extremely active in several sports including swimming
(English Channel, Alcatraz, Manhattan solo), skiing, mountain biking and gardening with my wife, Suzanne.
