As a counseling intern, I am passionate about providing compassionate and effective support to individuals navigating life's challenges. Often, our culture tries to keep us trapped in the very issues that cause dissatisfaction in life. It would be an honor to walk alongside you as you navigate the world authentically, as God called you to! Currently I am earning my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Fairfield University, aspiring to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I bring a solid foundation in counseling theories, therapeutic techniques, and a genuine commitment to fostering positive change.
As I embark on this part of my career journey, I am excited for hands-on work, allowing me to develop practical skills in conducting individual, couple, and family counseling sessions. I aim to foster a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts and emotions. When we take care of our mind, body, and soul, amazing things can happen. We're all made in the image of God, and I'm here to support you as you connect with Him, feel His love, and discover the purpose He has for your life. No matter what you feel bound by — anxiety, depression, trauma, loss of faith, or grief, and loss — I encourage you to take control as God guides you.
I believe that laughter, the Word of God, and finding moments of joy help in the healing process. When we utilize all that God has given us, we witness ourselves grow. My role as your counselor is to help you experience God’s creation of life, whether it is a warm smile or embrace, an encouraging word from God, well wishes at the beginning of a packed week, or even a moment of silence to help you process emotions and thoughts. Therapy is not a linear journey; however, we take the bumps and turns together.
