I honor the courage it takes to ask and seek. Humans are meaning-makers, and we seek out answers, particularly to the hard questions around self and identity. Suffering is a part of the human experience, and the hardships of life have a way of giving us false answers to these questions of "Who am I?" Difficult experiences fill us with beliefs such as "I am not enough" or perhaps "I am too much," or "I am shameful/unlovable/incapable/a bad parent/fill in the blank." Maybe you're struggling with a transition or crippled by perfectionism or scrupulosity. Perhaps something from the past keeps coming up.
I want to walk with you on your journey of unburdening from these false identities and help you discover the freedom and flourishing that are yours through becoming who you were made to be. I know that people seek out counseling for many reasons, and there is no such thing as a "small" problem. Your pain, confusion, struggles, stuck-points, wrestling, and concerns matter. I am honored to hold space and journey beside you. You deserve it.
I received my bachelor's in behavioral health from Boston University, as well as a master's in public health focusing on maternal and child health. Currently, I am earning my master's in counseling from Divine Mercy University and am working towards becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
With special experience working with pregnant and postpartum women as a birth and postpartum doula, as well as training in treating trauma, I have a heart for new moms and moms-to-be, and for those who are bravely healing from difficult and/or traumatic experiences.
