I believe we heal in relationship, and you’re not meant to be alone in your pain. As your therapist, I will come along beside you to support you on your journey to healing and wholeness. Together, we will work toward healing the parts of you that are hurting and feel broken.

I am a clinical psychologist with over 20 years experience and training working with adults and teens, both in English and Spanish. I provide psychotherapy in a warm, supportive, nonjudgmental, compassionate, professional environment. I value and honor the uniqueness of each individual and believe it is important to hold a safe space for your courageous process of healing. I am a Christian and believe God is the source of our healing and so my approach to treatment is on the whole person: mind, body and spirit. I have extensive experience in treating clients struggling with anxiety disorders, panic attacks and phobias, obsessive or over thinking, single incident trauma and complex trauma, emotional wounds from childhood, postpartum moods, grief and loss, depression, chronic illnesses, difficult life transitions, relationship problems, identity and self-esteem issues.

Sessions are designed to build upon my your already existing strengths and resources. I work with clients to increase self-awareness and resilience and create positive changes to meet personal goals. I teach clients how to reduce stress and enhance their ability to cope with and grow from life’s challenges. I help clients discover and understand the roots of their problems, improve their relationships, and develop the insight and skills needed to make the best choices to create a better tomorrow for themselves.

I utilize a variety of approaches to work with you in a way that fits who you are and your needs. I am a trauma-informed psychotherapist and draw on various models of therapy including but not limited to Christian counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy strategies, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, sensory techniques, somatic mind-body and brain-based modalities, Internal Family Systems therapy and EMDR. I am committed to learning the latest evidence-based techniques to create an individualized approach that helps you heal and move forward with your life.
