Lauren Osso, MA, LPC, NCC is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, EMDR Clinician and CT State
Certified School Counselor. She has dedicated her career to psychotherapy since 2010.
Prior to that, she worked in public schools and local community agencies providing prevention,
intervention, and treatment plans to children and families. Her passion has always been, and remains
to be the importance of mental health awareness and breaking stigmas around anxiety, depression and
substance abuse.
Additionally, she has extensive experience with understanding how people with neurodiversities
can best assimilate in the world we live in. Lauren has continued her professional development learning about
the impact of trauma on the human psyche.
Most recently, she completed a 50 Hr Meditation Teacher Training and
incorporates the science of breath and meditation in her treatment plans.
Lauren uses a myriad of therapeutic modalities including, but not limited to, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing
Therapy (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems Therapy
(IFS) Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), the Family Systems Model and Nature Based Practices.
