I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with over 20 years of clinical experience. My professional journey began with earning a Master's in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner from Sacred Heart University and later pursuing a Post-Master's Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Johns Hopkins University. Throughout my career, I have developed a profound interest in mental health, which was sparked during my work in women’s health and pediatrics. I quickly realized that mental health touches every aspect of healthcare, regardless of specialty, and that there was a significant need for mental healthcare providers.
Recognizing this gap, I felt a deep calling to answer the growing demand for mental health services, particularly for vulnerable and special populations. Over the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of working at Yale's Department of Psychiatry, where I’ve been able to hone my skills in various aspects of psychiatric care. This experience has allowed me to work with diverse patient populations, refining my ability to care for individuals with mental health conditions across a wide spectrum.
I am now excited to join Renew, as my passion for mental health intersects with my commitment to physical wellness. I firmly believe that true wellness encompasses mind, body, and spirit. By addressing the root causes of illness—whether mental, physical, or emotional—I strive to help clients achieve holistic health goals. I am committed to providing comprehensive care that considers every aspect of a person’s well-being, and I look forward to supporting individuals in their journeys toward nutritional, physical, mental, and spiritual wellness.
