Micah Cardamone

Biblical Counselor Intern

Additional Information: I want to emphasize areas of strength and help them come up with realistic goals that will work with their personality type and schedule in life. My rule is that clients will be able to talk honestly about difficult topics, but with respect and kindness. A verse that has shaped how I interact with others is, “A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger” (NIV, Prov. 15:1). I hope that I can work with clients using the techniques from my courses to come up with useful solutions for their goals in counseling and help them understand themselves and others in their lives. I am willing to work with any age group, but I think my focus will be adults (18 and older).

I am finishing my degree of a Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling and Theology at Liberty University. I also serve at the church I attend doing a weekly Bible study, which has further helped me grow in my knowledge of God’s Word. I believe this will help me to share relevant Scriptures with clients.
