I am a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern and currently pursuing my master's degree at Southern New Hampshire University, with a bachelor’s degree in Theater and Communications from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. My clinical approach is rooted in Person-Centered care and informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and expressive interventions such as role play and dramatic play to support emotional awareness, healthy coping, and social skill development. I strive to help clients better understand their mental health, reduce distress, and develop practical tools that support emotional balance and overall well-being.
As a Haitian American, I am deeply committed to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health and creating a safe, culturally responsive space for individuals and families who may have felt discouraged or hesitant to seek therapy. Grounded in my Christian faith, I believe mental and emotional healing are deeply connected to spiritual wholeness. When aligned with a client’s values and goals, faith can serve as a supportive framework in therapy, encouraging healing, restoration, and building confidence in the calling God has placed on their lives, while supporting their mental health with a greater sense of clarity and purpose.
